These are organisations that service and support everyone in the community, including special groups such as older adults, people with a disability, youth and people of a multicultural background.

Liberty Swing and Beach Wheelchair
Warringah Council recently installed the Liberty Swing in the Collaroy recreation park at Collaroy beach. Facilities for people with mobility disabilities include access ramps into the larger and wading pools, a grab rail along the pool cliff side. Submersible wheelchair and MLAK key for disabled toilet (available from the Lifeguard Room at the NE corner of nearby Collaroy Surf Club building). Freewheeler beach wheelchair (by MLAK or book at 9942 2787). Wheelchair accessible paths to the Surf Club, toilet, pool showers and paths around the pool. Wider disabled parking spaces near childrens playground. The Liberty swing for wheelchair users (use with MLAK key).

Disability Services in the Northern Beaches
Each Council has staff to identify and respond to comments, queries and concerns raised by residents, and bring these to the Council's attention. They provide information, make referrals, hold consultations, and generally plan and coordinate to improve quality and availability of services for residents.
